The shop, and who is in it
A bespoke tailor inside BTS National Stadium station since 2011. What is made here, how it is made, and what the shop does not do.

- Suits from 6,000 THB

The Loft Bespoke Tailor is a bespoke tailor inside BTS National Stadium station in Bangkok, at Exit 3 and Exit 4 on Rama I Road in Wang Mai, Pathum Wan, beside MBK Center. Suits, wedding suits, tuxedos, women’s tailoring, shirts and trousers are each cut from a paper pattern drafted for the customer rather than an off-the-shelf block. Jackets are canvassed and two fittings are standard. The shop has been trading since 2011 and also alters garments bought elsewhere, including wedding dresses. It is open from 10am to 9pm every day and can measure at a customer’s hotel in central Bangkok. It holds no trade licence or association membership; none is required for this work in Thailand. The shop does not rent suits or supply wholesale. A suit starts from 6,000 THB. Customers book a fitting with a WhatsApp message or simply walk in; no appointment is needed. Photographs of the work, the bench and the walk from MBK Center are in the gallery.
01
What is made here
- bespoke suits in Bangkok — two-piece and three-piece, cut from a pattern drafted for you.
- wedding suits for the groom and groomsmen and tuxedos and dinner suits — for the groom, the party and the guests.
- ladies suits and women’s tailoring — jackets, trousers, skirts, shirts and dresses, by the same method.
- tailored shirts and tailored trousers — together or on their own, and copies of a garment you already own.
- suit alterations — including garments bought elsewhere, and wedding dresses on their own timetable.

02
How the work is done
The method is the same for every garment on that list, and it is the thing worth judging a tailor on, because it is the part a customer cannot see once the lining is in. A paper pattern is drafted from your measurements, the cloth is cut to that pattern, and the garment is basted together so that it can be tried on and corrected before it is finished. That order is what the word bespoke refers to.
Your own pattern
The pattern is drawn for one body rather than adjusted from a stock block, and it carries how you stand as well as how big you are. It is kept afterwards, so a second order starts at the cloth and every correction made at your fittings is already in it. Ask how long it is kept when you order.
Two fittings
Two, not one. The first is on a basted garment whose seams can still be opened and moved; the second is on the finished one, with your own shoes. One fitting tells you whether a suit fits and two tell you whether the correction worked, which are different questions. A suit takes two to three days on the bench, or twelve hours for a customer who is flying out — bespoke suits in Bangkok has the sequence in full.

03
What this shop does not do
To save you a trip, the shop does not:
- Rent suits or tuxedos.
- Supply wholesale or bulk garments. That is a different trade and a different part of Bangkok.
- Print T-shirts.
- Dry-clean. Alterations yes, cleaning no.
- Make traditional Thai wedding attire. The evening suit, yes — wedding suits for the groom and groomsmen.

04
Worth asking before you order
These are questions worth asking the shop directly before you order.
- Deposit and payment terms, and which methods are accepted.
- Whether jackets are full or half canvassed. They are canvassed.
- Whether alterations are free for customers who bought the suit here.
- How long a customer’s pattern is kept.
- Where finished garments can be shipped, and at what cost. The shop does ship abroad.
- Whether a woman on the team can take measurements.
- Where the cloth is woven. The books on the table are named Sirano, Cavani, Luiciano and Lord & Taylor.
Ask any of them on WhatsApp and the shop will answer. the reviews in full sets out the three checks that do not depend on anyone’s word.

Finding the shop
The shop is inside BTS National Stadium station, on the ticket-hall level, in front of the ticket office, between Exit 3 and Exit 4 on Rama I Road in Wang Mai, Pathum Wan, beside MBK Center. The part people get wrong is that it is in the station rather than on the street below: come up to the station level and it is at the exits rather than outside them. From MBK Center it is about six minutes on foot, and Siam is one stop along the line. Open 10am to 9pm every day, including weekends, and you do not need an appointment. the shop and how to reach it has the map link and the WhatsApp number.
The other places nearby each have a page with the walk to the shop: Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, Siam Discovery, Siam Center, Siam Square and Siam Paragon.

Questions people ask
- How long has The Loft Bespoke Tailor been open?
- Since 2011.
- Is the shop the same as The Loft Tailors?
- Yes. The business was renamed The Loft Bespoke Tailor in September 2026 and it is the same shop, the same Google listing and the same place inside the station. The former name still appears on the shopfront sign, on the branded hangers and on several third-party directory listings, so seeing it is not a sign that you are in the wrong place.
- Does the shop hold any trade licence or certification?
- No. The shop holds no trade licence or certification. What you can check instead is the work itself: a pattern drafted for you, a canvassed jacket and two fittings.
- Who actually makes the suits?
- Measuring, drafting and fitting happen in the shop, in front of you. Stitching is done at the bench. How the work is divided between the shop’s own bench and any outside hands is a fair thing to ask in person. A tailor doing the work will not mind being asked.
- What makes this different from other Bangkok tailors?
- Three things that are checkable rather than claimed: a paper pattern drafted for you rather than a block adjusted, canvassed jackets, and two fittings as standard. You can test the second yourself by pinching the front of any finished jacket below the buttonhole.
- What does it cost?
- A suit starts from 6,000 THB, and from 12,000 to 22,000 THB in premium cloth; the cloth you choose decides where yours falls. Trousers start from 2,000 THB and shirts from 1,200 THB. There are six packages as well, from 7,000 THB for a suit and two shirts, and you have the exact figure before anything is cut.
- Can I just walk in?
- Yes, any day between 10am and 9pm including weekends. No appointment is needed to be measured, to look at cloth, or to bring in a garment for alteration. Messaging first on WhatsApp is worth doing if you are on a deadline, bringing several people, or want something answered before you travel across Bangkok.
- Where exactly is the shop?
- Inside BTS National Stadium station, on the ticket-hall level, in front of the ticket office, between Exit 3 and Exit 4 on Rama I Road in Wang Mai, Pathum Wan, beside MBK Center. It is in the station rather than on the street below, which is the detail people get wrong: come up to the station level and it is at the exits. About six minutes on foot from the middle of MBK Center (Google Maps), one stop from Siam.
