The walk from Siam Center to the shop

The walk from Siam Center to the shop is about 8 minutes on foot, about 600 metres by the street route, according to Google Maps (checked 23 October 2026). Google also shows a second, longer route. Our contact page gives about ten minutes along the skywalk from Siam. Siam Center’s own website says it is connected to BTS Siam station at Exit 2.

  1. Leave Siam Center and walk west along Rama I Road towards BTS National Stadium station. You pass Siam Discovery and then the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre on the way.
  2. If you would rather use the skywalk, join it from BTS Siam station and follow it west towards National Stadium station.
  3. If the skywalk brings you to National Stadium station, come down at Exit 3, as the shop’s directions say for people coming from the Siam side. The shop is then immediately on your right.

How we checked this route: Siam Center’s own getting-here page for the Siam station connection, Google Maps walking directions, which run along Rama I Road, and the shop’s directions for the skywalk (checked 23 October 2026). We have not walked it door by door. If your way is different, message us on WhatsApp.

What happens at the shop

At the shop you are measured and you choose cloth, and the jacket of your bespoke suit is canvassed.

Canvassed means a layer of canvas is stitched into the chest of the jacket instead of glued, so the front keeps its shape. Alongside the canvassed jacket, the pattern is drawn for you and there are two fittings as standard: together they are what bespoke means here. The fitting schedule covers the fittings. Each is a walk of about 8 minutes from Siam Center.

Questions people ask

How long does it take to walk from Siam Center to the shop?
It takes about 8 minutes on foot, about 600 metres by the street route, according to Google Maps (checked 23 October 2026). Google also shows a second, longer route, covered in the next answer. Both Siam Center and the shop are on Rama I Road. Our contact page gives about ten minutes along the skywalk from Siam, so the two figures sit close together. Add a few minutes if you are carrying bags. The shop is inside BTS National Stadium station, at Exit 3 and 4.
Is there more than one route from Siam Center to the shop?
Google Maps shows two: about 8 minutes and 600 metres, and about 10 minutes and 700 metres (checked 23 October 2026). We have not matched either route to the skywalk, so we cannot say which one passes along it. Our contact page describes the skywalk route from the Siam side and says to come down at Exit 3, with the shop immediately on your right. Choose the route that suits you on the day. The shop is inside BTS National Stadium station, at Exit 3 and 4 on Rama I Road, whichever route you take.
Which exit do I use when I come from Siam Center?
If your route reaches National Stadium station by the skywalk, come down at Exit 3. Exit 3 is the exit on the Siam side, and the shop’s directions say the shop is then immediately on your right. The shop is on the ticket-hall level of BTS National Stadium station, between Exit 3 and Exit 4 on Rama I Road. We have not confirmed which side of the ticket gates it is on, so if you come in by a different way and cannot see it, message us on WhatsApp and say what you can see. If you are unsure which exit you are at, tell us that too.
Is the shop open when Siam Center is open?
Partly. The shop is open from 10am to 9pm every day. Siam Center lists 10am to 10pm, Monday to Sunday, on its own website, which we read on 23 October 2026. So the opening time matches, and we close an hour earlier. If you want to be measured, arrive well before 9pm and before your other stops in the evening, so that closing time does not rush the choice of cloth. The hours for Siam Center are on its own website, so you can check both before you set out.
Can a group come over from Siam Center together?
Yes. You can walk over as a group. A message on WhatsApp first is worth sending, so that we know how many people to expect. Say what each person wants made and when it is needed. The walk for the whole group is about 8 minutes on foot. Tell us the date of the occasion, if there is one, so that the fittings can be set around it. A message also lets us tell you, before you set out, whether the day you have in mind suits a group.
Can I take the BTS instead of walking from Siam Center?
Yes. Siam Center’s own website says it is connected to BTS Siam station at Exit 2. From Siam, National Stadium is one stop west on the Silom line, and it is where that line ends. The shop is inside National Stadium station. We have not timed the ride, so we cannot say whether the train is quicker than the walk of about 8 minutes. Choose the way that is easier for you on the day, rather than the one that looks quickest on paper. Walking and riding both end at the same place: the shop, on the ticket-hall level between Exit 3 and Exit 4.
How much should a good tailored suit cost if I am at Siam Center?
A good tailored suit costs what its cloth, its construction and the garment itself add up to, so judge the cost by whether it is explained before the cloth is cut. At The Loft Bespoke Tailor, a bespoke suit means a pattern cut for you, a canvassed jacket and two fittings as standard, so ask what the quote covers. Ask whether the price quoted includes the fittings and any corrections afterwards. We publish no figure on this page; what sets the price explains how cloth, construction and the garment decide it. From Siam Center, you can ask on WhatsApp or at the shop.
Can I get inexpensive tailored clothes if I order near Siam Center?
What you pay depends on the cloth you choose and on how the suit is made, and the shop gives no figure on this page. You can write first on WhatsApp at 085 048 7655, say what you want made and when you need it, and ask for the cost before the cloth is cut, if you order near Siam Center. Walking in also works, any day from 10am to 9pm, and the shop is about 8 minutes on foot from Siam Center (Google Maps, checked 23 October 2026).

What a customer said

5 out of 5 stars

My entire family made suits and shirts with The Loft Tailors. Very good value and Mr Sun was very helpful with the whole process. The turnaround was extremely quick, and the shop is located at the station next to MBK which is really convenient. Will definitely return!
