01
The three things that move the price
Three things, and only three, move what a suit costs anywhere, whether a tailor calls it bespoke, tailored or custom-made: the cloth, how the jacket is built, and what you are having made. Everything else on a quote is a consequence of those, and understanding them lets you read any tailor’s price, including this one’s. The table puts the three side by side.
| Driver | What changes | How much it moves |
|---|---|---|
| Cloth | The book and the weave you choose | A suit from 6,000 THB, and 12,000 to 22,000 THB in premium cloth |
| Construction | Full or half canvas | Asked at the order; it is part of the quote |
| Garment | What you are having made | Trousers from 2,000 THB, a shirt from 1,200 THB |
That is how bespoke suits are priced here.
The cloth
The largest variable and the one you choose yourself. Cloth is picked from the books on the table — Sirano, Cavani, Luiciano and Lord & Taylor — and the difference between two of them is a real difference in the quote. Handle them; the decision is easier with your hand on the cloth than with a description.
The construction
A canvassed jacket takes more hours than a fused one, and the hours are the cost. The suits here are canvassed. Ask at the order whether yours is full or half canvas — what is inside the jacket explains why the answer matters and how to ask for it, and canvassed, not fused walks the build from order to collection.
The garment itself
Two-piece or three, trousers alone, a waistcoat added later, lining and details. A third piece is a garment rather than an upgrade, and it is priced as one — the waistcoat, and whether you need one.

02
Starting prices
A suit starts from 6,000 THB. In premium cloth it runs from 12,000 to 22,000 THB, and the book you choose decides where in that range yours falls. Trousers start from 2,000 THB and shirts from 1,200 THB.
| Garment | Standard cloth | Premium cloth |
|---|---|---|
| Suit | from 6,000 THB | 12,000 to 22,000 THB |
| Trousers | from 2,000 THB | from 3,500 THB |
| Shirt | from 1,200 THB | — |
You still get the exact figure for your cloth and your garment before anything is cut. The starting price is the floor, and the three things above are what move it.

03
What a package leaves out
A package usually leaves out three things, because a single number hides the variables above:
- The cloth tier — which book the price assumes.
- The construction — canvassed or fused.
- The second fitting — whether it is included.
The shop’s own six packages start at 5,000 THB for five shirts and 7,000 THB for a suit and two shirts; they are priced on the standard cloth books, with the same canvassed jacket and two fittings as any suit here — what a package hides sets them out, with the questions that turn any package into a comparable number.

04
What a fair price looks like
A fair price is one where you can see what you are paying for. That means you can name the cloth book, you know whether the jacket is canvassed, and you know how many fittings are included. A quote that answers those three is comparable to any other quote that answers them. A quote that does not is not cheap or expensive — it is unreadable.
The $500 and the $5000 suit
The gap between a cheap suit and an expensive one is made of cloth, construction and hours, in that order, and the curve flattens: the first step up buys a visible difference, and the tenth buys refinement most people cannot see. Where you should stop depends on how often the suit will be worn, not on what the top of the range costs. what separates cheap from expensive takes the three apart properly.
What the same money buys in Hong Kong or Vietnam
What travels between cities is the checklist rather than the number: is a pattern drafted for you, is the jacket canvassed, how many fittings are included, and can you see and name the cloth. Ask those four anywhere, compare the answers, and the prices become comparable on their own.

05
How to get a quote in one message
A quote takes one WhatsApp message to 085 048 7655, in three steps:
- Say what you want made, and roughly what cloth or what the suit is for.
- Give your dates and where you are.
- Settle the payment terms in the same message as the number.
Coming in is faster if you are in Bangkok — the shop is inside BTS National Stadium station at exits 3 and 4, open 10am to 9pm every day — because most of a quote is a cloth decision and cloth decisions are made by hand.
A number on its own is not the whole agreement. Ask when you pay, and how much; the questions, and what a straight answer to each one sounds like, are set out there.

Questions people ask
- How much does a bespoke suit cost here?
- From 6,000 THB. In premium cloth a suit runs from 12,000 to 22,000 THB, and the cloth you choose decides where yours falls. Trousers start from 2,000 THB (premium from 3,500 THB) and shirts from 1,200 THB. Tell us what you want made and roughly what cloth, and you have the exact figure before anything is cut. Bring the date as well, because what is possible in the time affects what is sensible to order.
- Why is it a range rather than one price?
- Because the cloth decides it. The same suit cut from two books is two prices, which is why a suit starts from 6,000 THB and runs to 22,000 THB in premium cloth. Within that, what moves the figure is whether the jacket is canvassed and what is actually being made; every jacket here is canvassed, so the cloth and the garment are what is left.
- What makes one suit cost more than another?
- Cloth first, construction second, garment third. Cloth is the largest variable and the one you choose yourself. A canvassed jacket takes more hours than a fused one and the hours are the cost. A three-piece is a third garment rather than an upgrade. Everything else on a quote follows from those. Of the three, cloth is the one you control completely: the same tailor and the same construction in a different cloth is a different number.
- Can I get a quote before I come in?
- Yes. WhatsApp 085 048 7655 with four things: what you want made, roughly what cloth or what the suit is for, your dates, and where you are. Those four are enough to quote from. If you are in Bangkok it is still faster to come in, because most of a quote is a cloth decision and cloth decisions are made by hand. Send a photograph of anything you want it to look like as well. A picture narrows the cloth and the cut faster than a paragraph does.
- Is a cheaper suit a worse suit?
- Not necessarily, and sometimes a cheaper suit is the right answer: for one occasion you will not repeat, for a body that is still changing, or for a climate you are leaving. What matters is that you know which corners were cut. The two that are invisible at the point of sale are fused construction and a block adjusted instead of a pattern drafted. Both of those are checkable before you pay: pinch the front of a finished jacket, and ask whether a paper pattern is drafted or a block adjusted.
- What does the same money buy in Hong Kong or Vietnam?
- What travels between cities is the checklist rather than the number: is a pattern drafted for you, is the jacket canvassed, how many fittings are included, and can the shop name the cloth book. Ask those four anywhere and the prices become comparable on their own. A shop that answers all four plainly is comparable with any other that does, wherever it is, and a shop that will not answer them has told you something too.
- Do you offer packages?
- Yes, six, from 5,000 THB for five shirts and 7,000 THB for a suit and two shirts, all on the standard cloth books; the packages page sets out each one. Wherever you are offered a package, price the specification rather than the quantity: "a suit and two shirts" names amounts, and amounts are the least important thing about a suit. Ask which cloth books are in and which are out, because a restricted selection is reasonable but you should know where the line is.
- What deposit will I have to pay?
- Ask three things at the order: how much is due today, whether the deposit is refundable and up to when, and whether the quote includes the fittings and any corrections afterwards. Get the answers in writing on the order sheet rather than in conversation, which makes any later discussion a short one.

What a customer said
5 out of 5 stars
We stumbled upon The Loft Tailors getting off the sky train going to MBK. The price of the suit was very competitive and the craftsmanship was great. My son went to the fitting appointment and needed slight adjustment. When we came back to fit again it was perfect. They also are very fast.
