The walk from the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre to the shop

The walk from BACC to the shop is about 2 minutes on foot, about 150 metres by the street route, according to Google Maps (checked 23 October 2026). BACC is the nearest of the six places we cover. It stands at the Phaya Thai junction on Rama I Road, and the shop is inside the station to the west of it.

  1. Leave BACC and walk west along Rama I Road towards BTS National Stadium station. The station is about 150 metres away by the street route.
  2. If you would rather use the skywalk, the raised walkway, follow it towards the station instead. OpenStreetMap shows it passing about 30 metres from BACC.
  3. Go into the station. As far as we can tell from the map, Exit 3 is the entrance nearest BACC, and the shop is described as being between Exit 3 and Exit 4.
  4. Once you are inside, the shop is on the ticket-hall level, in front of the ticket office. We have not confirmed which side of the ticket gates that is, so if you cannot see it, message us on WhatsApp.

How we checked this route: Google Maps walking directions, which run along Rama I Road, OpenStreetMap’s mapped entrances and walkways, and BACC’s own website, which names BTS National Stadium as its station (checked 23 October 2026). We have not walked it door by door. If your way is different, message us on WhatsApp.

What happens at the shop

At the shop you try your bespoke suit on at a basted fitting, and then again at a second fitting.

Basted means the suit is held together with long temporary stitches, so it can still be changed on you. The pattern is drawn for you and the jacket is canvassed, with canvas stitched into the chest, and those two, with two fittings as standard, are what we mean by bespoke. Two fittings, and the days between sets out the schedule. Each fitting is a visit to the shop, so each one is a walk of about 2 minutes from BACC.

Questions people ask

How long does it take to walk from BACC to the shop?
It takes about 2 minutes on foot, about 150 metres by the street route, according to Google Maps (checked 23 October 2026). That makes the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre the nearest of the six places we cover. Both BACC and the shop are on Rama I Road, which helps if you are following the road on a map. The walk ends at BTS National Stadium station, where the shop is on the ticket-hall level, between Exit 3 and Exit 4. The walk is short enough to repeat for each fitting.
How do I walk from BACC to the shop?
Walk west along Rama I Road towards BTS National Stadium station, because the shop is inside it. The station is about 150 metres away by the street route, according to Google Maps (checked 23 October 2026). Once you are inside, the shop is on the ticket-hall level, between Exit 3 and Exit 4, in front of the ticket office; we have not confirmed which side of the ticket gates that is. As far as we can tell from the map, Exit 3 is the entrance nearest BACC. If you prefer the skywalk, OpenStreetMap shows the raised walkway passing about 30 metres from BACC. If your way is different, message us on WhatsApp at 085 048 7655.
Is the shop open on Mondays, when BACC is closed?
Yes. The shop is open every day, Mondays included, from 10am to 9pm. BACC lists itself as open Tuesday to Sunday and closed on Mondays, according to its own website, which we read on 23 October 2026. So if you are in Bangkok on a Monday and plan a visit to BACC, move that plan to another day and keep the Monday for the shop. You can walk in without an appointment and be measured. The shop has no closed day, so a Monday plan can include it.
Can I visit the shop after BACC closes?
Yes, as long as you arrive before 9pm. BACC lists a closing time of 8pm on its own website, so the shop stays open for an hour after that. Treat 8pm as the time to plan by. If you reach us late in the evening and want to be measured, message us on WhatsApp first so that we know to expect you. Walking in works, and no booking is needed. The walk from BACC to the shop is about 2 minutes, so you can leave BACC at its listed closing time and still arrive well before 9pm.
Can I visit before or after BACC without an appointment?
Yes. No appointment is needed between 10am and 9pm. Because the walk is only about 2 minutes, you can fit the shop around a visit to BACC without planning a separate journey. The first-appointment page lists what the visit involves, so you know what to expect before you come. If you need a firm time before you plan your day, ask on WhatsApp first and say when you will be free. If you visit from Tuesday to Sunday, BACC is listed as open from 10am to 8pm, so you can plan the shop before or after it.
What do the reviews say about the shop near BACC?
The reviews of the shop near BACC talk most about the cloth, the speed and the fit, and Google shows the rating of The Loft Bespoke Tailor as 4.8 from 22 Google reviews. Each review on our reviews page links to its original on Google. We do not rank tailors, and no ranking of tailors exists for us to cite, so we cannot say which is best. In any shop’s reviews, look for a named reviewer, a link to the original and what the reviewer says was made.
How much will a tailored suit cost if I order near BACC?
The cost of a tailored suit ordered near BACC is set by the cloth you choose, how the jacket is constructed and the garment being made. Here, a tailored suit is bespoke: a pattern cut for you, a canvassed jacket and two fittings as standard. You have the figure for your suit before anything is cut. Read what sets the price to see how each one changes the cost. The shop is about 2 minutes on foot from BACC (Google Maps, checked 23 October 2026), so you can ask about the price on the same visit without a separate journey.
How do I book a fitting if I am at BACC?
Message us on WhatsApp at 085 048 7655 with the day and time you would like and what you want made. There is no booking form. If you are in Bangkok on a Monday, when BACC is closed, you can book that day too, because the shop is open every day. If you would rather not write, walk in between 10am and 9pm, because no appointment is needed. Because the walk is only about 2 minutes, you can settle the details in the chat and still be at the shop within minutes of leaving BACC.

What a customer said

5 out of 5 stars

Had a very good experience having my first ever suit made by The Loft Tailors. Since we were just transiting via Bangkok during the start and end of our trip, wasn't sure if it was enough time to have a suit made. Turns out, it is possible with the Loft Tailors! ☺️ They were very professional and transparent with the process. Also very easy to get in touch with and very responsive.
