The tailor comes to your hotel in central Bangkok, with the cloth books and the tape, and measures you there. It is booked on WhatsApp. Everything after that runs as it would in the shop: a pattern drafted for you, and fittings.
01
Where the tailor comes
The tailor comes to hotels in central Bangkok. The shop is inside BTS National Stadium station beside MBK, so these four areas are all short journeys:
- Siam
- Pathum Wan
- Ratchaprasong
- Silom
Anywhere on the Sukhumvit and Silom lines is straightforward. If you are further out, ask on WhatsApp rather than assuming — the answer depends on the day and the traffic as much as the distance, and you will get a straight one.

02
What happens at the visit
The visit follows the same three steps as an order in the shop, in your hotel:
- Look through the cloth the tailor brings.
- Be measured over what you are wearing; you stay fully clothed.
- Make the decisions that have to be settled before cutting.
In every other way it is how a bespoke suit is ordered here: the pattern is drawn for you, so there are no ready sizes that have to stay behind at the shop. What the visit cannot do is show you the full range on the table at once, which is the one real trade against coming in. How the cloth you choose moves the figure is set out in what sets the price.
What is brought
Cloth books, tape and the order sheet. If you have a specific cloth in mind, say so when you book so that the right books come with the tailor rather than the general selection.
The number of visits follows the ordinary schedule rather than a special one — two fittings, and the days between.
How long it takes
About the same as in the shop: the measuring, plus whatever time you want for the cloth. Ask for a time estimate when you book, and book it for a time when you are not about to leave for something else.

03
The second fitting
This is the part worth planning. The suit still needs fitting, and a fitting is done on your body rather than remotely — so a hotel visit removes the first journey, not all of them. Most people are measured at the hotel and then come to the shop for the fittings, which is about six minutes on foot from the middle of MBK Center (Google Maps) and on the BTS. If you cannot get to the station at all, say so when you book so the timetable is planned around it rather than discovered halfway through.
Walking over for the fittings from elsewhere nearby, the pages for Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, Siam Discovery, Siam Center, Siam Square and Siam Paragon give the walk.

04
Delivery back to the hotel
Ask when you book. Delivery back to a central Bangkok hotel is the obvious companion to a hotel visit, so ask on WhatsApp whether it can be arranged for your order. Raise it in the same message as the booking and you will have a definite answer before you plan your last day around it.

05
Booking a visit
- Message on WhatsApp — 085 048 7655 — with your hotel, the dates you are in Bangkok, and what you want made.
- Say if you are on a deadline, particularly a flight. It changes the whole plan and it is better known at the start.
- Agree a time when you are not about to go out.
If your time in Bangkok is very short, read the twelve-hour express first, and a 48-hour stopover, hour by hour, for what is possible in one, two or three days.

Questions people ask
- Do you come to my hotel?
- Yes, in central Bangkok. The tailor comes to you with the cloth books and the tape, and everything after that runs as it would in the shop. Book it on WhatsApp at 085 048 7655 with your hotel, your dates and what you want made. Say how many people are being measured when you book, so enough time is set aside rather than discovered on arrival.
- Which areas do you cover?
- Central Bangkok. The shop is inside BTS National Stadium station beside MBK, so Siam, Pathum Wan, Ratchaprasong and Silom are short journeys and anywhere on the Sukhumvit and Silom lines is straightforward. If you are further out, ask rather than assume: the answer depends on the day and the traffic as much as the distance. Give a window rather than a single time if you can.
- Does a hotel visit cost extra?
- Ask when you book. Ask on WhatsApp whether a hotel visit carries a charge. Raise it in the same message as the booking and you will know before anyone travels, which is the right time to find out.
- What happens at the visit?
- The same as in the shop: you look through cloth, you are measured over the clothes you are wearing, and the decisions that have to be made before cutting are made. What a visit cannot do is show you the whole range at once, which is the one real trade against coming in. If you have a specific cloth in mind, say so when you book, so the right books come with the tailor rather than the general selection.
- Do I still have to come to the shop?
- For the fittings, usually yes, and that is the part worth planning. A fitting is done on your body, so a hotel visit removes the first journey rather than all of them. If you genuinely cannot get there, say so when you book so the timetable is planned around it. The shop is about six minutes on foot from the middle of MBK Center (Google Maps) and inside the station, so for most central hotels the fitting is a shorter trip than it sounds.
- Can the finished suit be delivered back to my hotel?
- Ask when you book. It is the obvious companion to a hotel visit, so ask in the booking message whether it can be arranged. You will then have a definite answer before you plan your last day around it. If the answer is no, the fallback is collecting from the shop on your way to the airport, which is inside the station and on the line.
- Can several of us be measured in one visit?
- Yes, and it is the sensible way to do a group. Say how many people when you book so enough time is set aside. Measuring several people in one room also means the cloth is chosen once, in the same light, rather than by each person on a different day.
- What should I have ready?
- The shoes you will wear with the finished garment, any garment you would like copied, and an idea of what the suit is for. Wear something reasonably close-fitting, since measurements are taken over your clothes. Book it for a window when you are not about to go out, because the cloth choice takes longer than the measuring and cannot usefully be rushed.

What a customer said
5 out of 5 stars
We stumbled upon The Loft Tailors getting off the sky train going to MBK. The price of the suit was very competitive and the craftsmanship was great. My son went to the fitting appointment and needed slight adjustment. When we came back to fit again it was perfect. They also are very fast.
