What your time in Bangkok actually buys you. One day is a suit with one fitting. Two days is a suit with two. Three days or more is an ordinary order with nothing rushed. Tell us which you have before you arrive, not after.

01

One day

A suit is possible in one day, and it is a real suit: your own pattern, cut and basted, tried on in the afternoon and finished by the evening — bespoke tailoring, not a rack suit rushed through alterations, just done in a single day. What you give up is the second fitting. For it to work you need to be in the shop early, reachable and nearby in the middle of the day, and clear about what you want before you arrive — an hour spent deciding between cloths is an hour off the bench. a bespoke suit inside a day sets out the sequence hour by hour.

02

Two days

Two days is the quiet sweet spot and almost nobody plans for it. Measured on the first morning, first fitting late the same day or the next morning, second fitting before you collect. You get both fittings, the making is not compressed, and you still fly out with the suit. If you have any flexibility in your trip, this is the version to aim at rather than the twelve-hour one.

03

Three days or more

Three days is an ordinary order with nothing rushed at all: two to three days on the bench, two fittings spaced properly, and time to go through the cloth books without watching the clock. It is also the point at which a second garment becomes sensible — a pair of trousers or a couple of shirts from the same pattern costs you almost no extra time once you have been measured.

04

What a rush costs

A rush costs you fittings, not construction. The pattern is still yours and the suit is still tried on before it is finished. What disappears is the second look, and the second look is where the smaller corrections are found — a sleeve half an inch long, a collar that lifts when you move, or a trouser break that sits wrong. On most people that margin is invisible. On a hard-to-fit body, or for a suit that has to be right in photographs, it is the difference. Nobody here will tell you a rush is free.

Questions people ask

What can I get made in one day in Bangkok?
A suit, with your own pattern and one fitting. You need to be in the shop early, reachable in the middle of the day, and clear about what you want before you arrive. The trade is the second fitting, which is the look that catches the smaller corrections. Be in the shop when it opens rather than at midday, because the fitting has to happen with enough of the afternoon left to act on it.
Is two days better than one?
Considerably, and almost nobody plans for it. Two days gets you both fittings, the making is not compressed, and you still fly out with the suit. If your trip has any flexibility at all, two days is the version to aim at rather than the twelve-hour one. It also removes the need to be reachable and nearby in the middle of a day you probably wanted to spend somewhere else.
What does three days get me?
An ordinary order with nothing rushed: two to three days on the bench, two fittings spaced properly, and time to go through the cloth books without watching the clock. It is also the point at which a second garment becomes sensible, because trousers or shirts from the same pattern cost almost no extra time once you have been measured. It is also long enough to sleep on the cloth decision, which is the one people most often wish they had not rushed.
I land in the morning and fly out the next night. Is that enough?
Usually yes, and it is close to the two-day case rather than the one-day one. Message before you land with both flight times. The answer depends on what is on the bench that day, and you will get a real one rather than a hopeful one. The hours at each end are what decide which version of the timetable applies.
Should I choose cloth before I arrive?
Have an idea, not a decision. Cloth is chosen by hand and the books are on the table, but arriving knowing you want a mid-grey rather than browsing everything saves an hour you do not have on a short trip. Say what the suit is for when you message and the choice narrows itself. Weight and handle cannot be judged from a photograph, so narrow the colour in advance and leave the cloth itself to be decided by hand.
Can the shop hold my suit if my flight changes?
Ask when it happens. The practical problem with a flight change is not storage, it is that a suit finished for Tuesday and collected on Friday has lost its remaining fitting time. Tell us as soon as you know, because an extra day is worth more before the suit is finished than after. A day gained before the suit is finished can become a second fitting; a day gained afterwards can only become a collection time.
Is it cheaper to take longer?
A suit starts from 6,000 THB on the ordinary timetable. What taking longer buys you is a second fitting, which is quality rather than price. Ask at the order whether a rush changes the figure, so the answer arrives before you have committed to the timetable.
What is the single most useful thing I can do?
Message before you land. WhatsApp 085 048 7655 with your arrival, your departure and what you want made. It costs you one message and it is the difference between a timetable planned around your trip and one improvised on the day you walk in.
