Can a suit be measured or fitted in half a day?
Yes, a suit measuring (the first visit) or a fitting fits into half a day, but a finished ordinary suit doesn't. The shop's bespoke suits in Bangkok have three parts: a pattern cut for you, a canvassed jacket and two fittings as standard. The pattern is a paper pattern drawn from your measurements. Canvassed means canvas is stitched into the chest of the jacket, not glued, so the front keeps its shape.
The first visit: cloth and measuring
The first visit is for choosing cloth and being measured, and you agree the date of the first fitting before you leave. You're measured over your clothes, so you stay fully clothed. How long the visit takes depends mostly on the cloth books. Hotel measuring covers central Bangkok, and being measured where you are staying sets it out.
A fitting
A fitting is a visit where you try the suit on and the tailor marks corrections on you, and two fittings are standard. The first is the basted fitting: the suit is tacked together with long temporary stitches, so it can still be changed on you. The bench work takes 2 to 3 days once the pattern is cut, and the fitting dates depend on when you can come back. For the schedule, read two fittings, and the days between.
A suit finished in a day: the twelve-hour express
The twelve-hour express finishes a suit in a day: measured in the morning, fitted in the afternoon, finished by the evening. It has one fitting in place of two, and the pattern is still drawn for you. The page on the twelve-hour express sets out what happens inside the twelve hours.

Where does the shop fit into your half day?
The shop fits into your half day at its place on Rama I Road, west of BACC, and it closes at 9pm. Five cases show where to place it:
- If you walk west along Rama I Road, the shop comes after Siam Paragon, Siam Square, Siam Center, Siam Discovery and BACC. MBK Center is across the road from it.
- If you have BACC on your list, it closes at 8pm and is closed on Mondays, as read 23 October 2026. The shop is open every day, Mondays included.
- If you end the evening at MBK Center, Siam Paragon, Siam Center or Siam Discovery, visit the shop first. The shop closes at 9pm and those four close at 10pm, as read 23 October 2026.
- If you want a first visit, it's for cloth and measuring, so ask us for a firm time before you plan the day.
- If you want the twelve-hour express, plan the shopping around it: you need to be nearby and reachable for the afternoon fitting.

Questions people ask
- What time does the MBK market close?
- MBK Center closes at 10pm every day, according to its own website (as read 23 October 2026), and it opens at 10am. The shop closes at 9pm, an hour before MBK Center (as read 23 October 2026), so visit the shop first. Hours can change, so check the venue before you go. These are the mall's own hours, as read 23 October 2026, and a separate shop inside MBK Center sets its own. The Loft Bespoke Tailor is open 10am to 9pm every day.
- How to spend half a day in Bangkok?
- To spend half a day in Bangkok with this plan, walk east to west along Rama I Road from Siam Paragon to the shop. The stops are Siam Paragon, Siam Square, Siam Center, Siam Discovery, the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC), the shop and MBK Center. The plan covers one half day on Rama I Road only. Closing times are 8pm at BACC (closed Mondays), 9pm at the shop and 10pm at MBK Center (as read 23 October 2026). A first visit or a fitting fits in the day, but a finished ordinary suit doesn't.
- Which of these places is the shortest walk from the shop?
- The Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC) is the shortest walk to the shop, about 2 minutes on foot (Google Maps, checked 23 October 2026). Siam Discovery is about 4 minutes, MBK Center about 6 (to the middle of the mall) and Siam Center about 8. Siam Square is about 10 minutes (from Google's "Siam Area") and Siam Paragon about 11. Each figure is a Google Maps walking time to the shop, checked 23 October 2026. Each of the six places has its own page with the walk.
- Is the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre open on Mondays?
- No, the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC) is closed on Mondays, according to its own website (as read 23 October 2026). It's open 10am to 8pm from Tuesday to Sunday (as read 23 October 2026), so treat 8pm as the time to plan by. Hours can change, so check the venue before you go. The shop is open every day, Mondays included, from 10am to 9pm. You can walk in without an appointment, so a Monday plan can include the shop.
- Can I get a suit finished in half a day?
- No, an ordinary suit can't be finished in half a day. An ordinary suit has two fittings as standard, and the bench work takes 2 to 3 days once the pattern is cut. The exception is the twelve-hour express: you're measured in the morning, fitted in the afternoon, and the suit is finished by the evening. The express has one fitting in place of two, and the pattern is still drawn for you. A half day holds a first visit or a fitting.
- Do the Siam centres close at the same time as the shop?
- No, the shop closes at 9pm and the Siam centres (Siam Discovery, Siam Center and Siam Paragon) close at 10pm, as read 23 October 2026. Each is open 10am to 10pm, according to its own website (as read 23 October 2026). Siam Square has no single closing time: it's a district of separate shops, and each shop sets its own (as read 23 October 2026). The shop opens at 10am, the same time as all three (as read 23 October 2026), so only the evening needs planning. Hours can change, so check the venue before you go.
- In what order do the Siam centres, BACC and MBK Center come along Rama I Road?
- East to west, the places are Siam Paragon, Siam Square, Siam Center, Siam Discovery, the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, the shop and MBK Center. The Bangkok Art and Culture Centre is at the Phaya Thai junction. Siam Square is on the south side of Rama I Road. MBK Center is about 200 metres south of the shop, across Rama I Road. Each of the six places has its own page with the walk. The shop is inside BTS National Stadium station, at Exit 3 and 4.
- Can I be measured at my hotel instead of walking to the shop?
- Yes, you can be measured at your hotel if it is in central Bangkok. Hotel measuring is booked on WhatsApp, and the tailor brings the cloth books and the tape. Hotel measuring covers Siam, Pathum Wan, Ratchaprasong and Silom. A fitting is done on your body, so a hotel visit removes the first journey to the shop, not all of them. Most people are measured at the hotel and then come to the shop for the fittings. Ask in your booking message whether delivery back to your hotel can be arranged.
